How it works
Selling a Japanese import privately can take months of messages. Selling to us takes days, and there are no fees at any stage.
1. Ask for a valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call us on 07984 355355, or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. The auction sheet, photos of any modifications and the odometer reading (in km is fine) help us give you an accurate offer.
2. Get your offer, held for 7 days
We come back to you with a price. There is no pressure to accept on the spot: your offer is held for seven days while you think it over.
3. Free collection anywhere in the UK
Once you are happy, we agree a time to collect the car from your home, workplace or business premises. Collection within the UK is free.
4. Same-day payment
We check the car matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and you are paid by bank transfer while our driver is with you. We will never ask you to release your car until you are completely happy and the money is in your account. No fees are deducted.
Car still abroad?
Most Japanese imports we buy are already in the UK, at home, in storage or at an import agent's yard, and UK collection is free. If yours is in mainland Europe, we can collect from there too: tell us where it is. If it is still in Japan or at sea, tell us what stage the import is at and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
What you will need
- The registration document: the UK V5C, or for an unregistered import, the Japanese export or de-registration certificate and any NOVA or customs paperwork
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, and any service history and receipts you have
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
